Partly is built around the principle that your data belongs to you. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
We collect only what is strictly needed to run the app: your email, an optional display name, the expenses and groups you create, and basic device information for crash reports. Receipt photos are processed for scanning and stored only inside the spaces you own.
How we use it
Your data is used to provide the service: syncing expenses across devices, calculating balances, sending payment requests, and improving reliability. We never sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe and bank transfers by our regulated partners. Partly never stores card numbers or banking credentials.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings. Account deletion removes all personal data within 30 days, with backup retention not exceeding 90 days.
